About Yvette
Yvette Currie has been in the field of psychology for over 20 years. She is a licensed clinician with her own private practice in San Diego, California.
She’s treated a spectrum of challenges, from inside safehouses, youth treatment facilities, offender treatment programs, to human trafficking. She’s trained military personnel on resilience, while deploying alongside them. She also held a position as a professor at National University, training up and coming therapists.
She consults with people to recognize, no matter where any of us have been, pain is pain, and we all have the capacity to be restored. And then take it to the next level.
"The sculpture is already complete within the marble block, before I start my work. It is already there, I just have to chisel away the superfluous material."
