Yvette has been in the field of Psychology for over 20 years. She is a licensed clinician, running a private practice on 5th Avenue, between Park West, uptown San Diego, near Balboa Park and the cultural and financial center and central business district of downtown San Diego.
Formerly residing in New Zealand, Japan, and the Kindgom of Tonga, she brings a citizen-of-the-world perspective to her unique approach.
She’s treated a spectrum of challenges, from inside safehouses, to youth treatment facilities, offender programs, to human trafficking. She’s trained military personnel on resilience, from inside hangar bays in Coronado, to the Persian Gulf. She’s deployed aboard an aircraft carrier and the USNS Mercy medical ship to provide training and her clinical skills.
She’s trained up and coming therapists through National University and has been invited as a guest speaker through Alliant University. Point Loma Nazarene University has utilized her writing in their online presence, as well.
She’s trained and taught through Greater Life Church San Diego. In addition, she’s been featured as a guest writer and resides as a clinical resource for the Rock Church San Diego.
She consults with people to recognize no matter where any of us have been, pain is pain, and we all have the capacity to be restored.
